Recognizing the need for quality education for children of Joint Staff Headquarters personnel, an English Medium Primary School was established in April 1994. It was upgraded to Secondary School Level in 1998 and College Level in 2003.
The institution is imparting education to the children of military personnel as well as civilians under clean and healthy environment. Since its establishment, the institution has shown tremendous growth and success and is well equipped with qualified, professionally sound, devoted and dedicated teaching staff as well as excellent educational facilities. The students and Alumni of JSPSC are proudly named “JSians”.
It is affiliated with Federal Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education, Islamabad for SSC & HSSC examinations.

Principal’s Message

JSPSC dispenses an environment through which students not only build up their academic excellence but also flourish moral and ethical values with physical and spiritual potential.

Our vision is to work collaboratively with parents and community for the well being of our students. With the grace of Allah Almighty, we have achieved great success in a short span of time but still I and my professional faculty believes in uplifting the standards of school by grooming our children through development of their character and personality.

We aim to pursuit students to learn and achieve academic excellence in a vibrant and dynamic-teaching learning environment. I appreciate higher standard in education, sports and co-curricular activities by providing opportunities to the aspirants. I believe in involving students in different sports activities to bring the feelings of competition and comradeship to teach them the values of teamwork and prepare them to win. We are committed to nurture our new generation to serve the motherland and humanity.

Brig Dr Afzal Saleemi, (Retd), SI(M) has served in Army Education Corps for thirty one years. A renowned academician, who is PhD in Computer Science and has served on various key appointments during his illustrious professional career. He has worked as Director of Studies Pakistan Military Academy, President executive committee APSACS PMA Kakul, Member Board of Governors Army Burn Hall Institution and President working body of FGE&Is Abbottabad Garrison. It is a matter of profound honour and prestige for him to serve as Principal of JSPS&C. His emphasis is on attainment of academic excellence, character building, improvement in moral values and personality traits.

Joint Staff Public School & College has been affiliated with the Army Public Schools & Colleges System Secretariat (APSACS) since 2017 in order to bring the uniformity with all APS’s in terms of syllabus, discipline and all major academic events. Community Work





The students of JS Public School & College are expected to display a very high standard of personal behavior and conduct. The College Staff is authorized to take action against cognizable and untoward behavior. The Principal has the authority to suspend, expel or rusticate a student in the best interest of the institution.


Students must abide by College Rules and Regulations .Breach of the rules shall render them liable to disciplinary action such as fines, striking off from College rolls, rustication or expulsion from the College.
Every student is required to be punctual, Late-comers to class may be marked absent. No student is allowed to prepare, paste, exhibit or distribute any poster, leaflet, notice, pamphlet or handbill in the College premises without prior permission from the Principal.
